PMoIP is our latest video product to go into production. We are now shipping to BBC, UK & it’s currently under integration in production facility. Incidentally, BBC has used our Stagebox, 24/7 at their studio since 2014, and have now upgraded to this new design.

This product uses a lot of intellectual property developed by CoreEL over the years. Architected under Mr.Satya Srinivas, the target of miniaturizing the product and it’s use case in different applications with same hardware (& different mechanical housings – rack mount, table mount, SoM in custom application), necessitated lot of close interaction between various verticals of engineering – HW, SoC, SW, PCB, Mechanical, Manufacturing; including Purchase to use small form factor parts instead of our usual P/Ns.

PMoIP uses the smallest of KUS+ FPGA for performing all video algorithms, 12G-SDI & redundant 25GE. The web server along with different video software applications runs on a tiny ARM processor. These requirements dictated writing and re-iterating the functional blocks continuously to optimize within available resources. This product also foray CoreEL into 4Kp60 (UHD) Codec, based on VC2 standard.
