Embedded Test Lead

Job Description

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of test strategies for radar embedded systems.
• Collaborate with system architects, software developers, and hardware engineers to understand system requirements and define test coverage.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded radar components including signal processing, control logic, and communication interfaces (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet).
• Manage test environments including simulation setups, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems, and field test equipment.
• Perform integration testing, regression testing, and system validation.
• Test automation using technologies like python.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive resolution with development teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., DO-178C, IEEE, MIL standards).
• Mentor and guide junior test engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers to align testing activities with project timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications for the Test Lead Position

• Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Lead or Senior Test Engineer, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in embedded systems testing.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or a related industry is highly desirable
