Ansys nCode DesignLife is a powerful tool for performing CAE fatigue analysis. It provides three interfaces to the HBM DesignLife solver: the HBM (Standalone) Interface, which is powerful and full-featured; the Workbench Integrated Interface, which leverages Workbench to simplify setup; and the Embedded Interface, where all actions are done entirely within Ansys Mechanical. Ansys nCode DesignLife offers robust Stress-Life and Strain-Life solvers that include mean stress correction, multiaxial assessment, and elastic-plastic correction. It also provides robust time-based load mapping options, including Constant Amplitude, Time Series, Time Step, and Duty Cycle.
